SERP: Search Engine Results Page, the page that appears after a user types in a search query.

Paid search: An advertising model where businesses pay to have their website or ad displayed at the top of search results.

Backlink: A link from one website to another, which can improve search engine rankings.

PageRank: A Google algorithm that ranks websites based on their authority and relevance.

Meta description: A brief description of a web page that appears in the search results.

Title tag: A brief and concise description of a web page’s content that appears in the search results.

Alt tag: A text description of an image, which helps search engines to understand the image’s content.

Heading tags: HTML tags used to organize and structure content on a web page.

Site map: A list of all the pages on a website, used by search engines to navigate and index a site.

Anchor text: The clickable text in a hyperlink that links one page to another.

CTR: Click-Through Rate, the percentage of clicks on a link compared to the number of times it was displayed.

Long-tail keywords: More specific and longer keyword phrases that are less competitive but can drive more targeted traffic.
